Testing on the trail
Thanks to some spring snow, rugged routes, and mud, I was able to put these tires through their paces. In general, this tire performs admirably. With 8 plies providing adequate stability, the 21 mm studs on the Trail Warrior demonstrated exceptional traction. Excellent traction is maintained by the tire thanks to its well-spaced stud design, which reduces mud accumulation.
Despite its aggressive appearance, this tire’s stud arrangement provides a surprisingly quiet ride over harder tracks, with minimal vibration felt at the ATV controls. The significance of these subtleties increases during lengthy rides.
Nevertheless, the experiment was not conducted in sub-zero temperatures. Our concern is that at such low temperatures, the tire material might harden too much. This question does not yet have a response from our test for now.
