Finally, these good-value two-seater quads have benefited from Polaris’ attention and have had a similar update to their single-seater version. Not only are the aesthetics greatly refreshed, but Polaris has developed several innovative features on this vehicle.
First, Polaris introduces a completely removable passenger seat system. If you remove it, you’ll have access to a larger luggage rack, just like on the single-seater. This is a unique feature in the industry, offering unmatched versatility. Special attention has also been paid to equipping the vehicle with watertight, closed storage spaces in the front and rear racks.
The ProStar 570 EFI engine is still available, and is highly efficient in terms of power (44 HP), fuel management and reliability. It is coupled to a CVT automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with all-wheel drive. The optional power steering now features a three-way power adjustment.
The suspension is independent at all four wheels, offering the kind of comfort Polaris is renowned for. The base and EPS versions have MacPherson-type front suspension, while the Premium and Ultimate versions feature double wishbone front suspension. Both types of suspension have the same travel. The average driver won’t notice much difference between the two suspension types in normal use. However, the strut configuration leaves people who want to change their suspension settings with very little adjustment range. They’d have more options with double A-arms. The rear suspension is double wishbone on all models.
The Touring 570 is offered in four trim levels, with the aim of offering two affordable versions (one without and one with power steering) and two more upscale versions: Premium and Ultimate.
The EPS version adds power steering and an extended front luggage rack to the basic version.
With the Premium version, you also get 14-inch cast aluminum wheels with 26-inch tires, front bumper, EBS engine braking, ADC active descent control, LED taillights, more elaborate double-wishbone front suspension and automotive-style paintwork.
Finally, the Ultimate version pulls out all the stops, adding a 7†Ride Command screen with USB charging port, high-efficiency LED headlights, 3500 lb winch, drive mode selector and electronic throttle control.
