2025 Polaris Sportsman 570

The Sportsman 570 is a model that occupies the niche of wide-ranging ATVs and has the enviable title of being the best-selling quad in North America. In order to maintain this sought-after status, Polaris has made a strong gesture by renewing its favorite ATV from start to finish. Its stylistic design is consensual and projects an image of quality.

Polaris has therefore completely redone the model while offering a wide range of models that will meet the needs of potential buyers. The 570 finally sports the angular body design style of the 850 and XP1000. Although the bodywork differs slightly, we appreciate the design signature that expresses dynamism and aggressiveness. The performance of the engine train has also been revised by improving engine braking on all versions and the low-speed clutch is more progressive on models equipped with EBS. The basic versions still rely on strut front suspensions and you will have to consent to the purchase of the Trail version to have the double wishbone suspensions which now have the ball joints sealed.

The ProStar 570 engine has proven to be solid and reliable in the RZR 570, and its 44 HP are enough to push this little quad with the sporty feel with total control. Drivers will appreciate the flexibility of the engine that delivers its power efficiently and quietly. The engine never seems stressed or in difficulty when in action. It’s up to you to decide if the power steering is worth the additional money, since the standard version of this model is delivered with or without it. The engineers at Polaris have done an excellent job in giving the steering a lighter feel through a good suspension design and better steering components. There appears to be very little resistance to the commands that the driver gives this machine, demonstrating a pleasing gentleness.

Polaris offers a slew of versions of its prolific Sportsman 570. The line starts with the base model without power steering. The 570 EPS brings, in addition to the power steering, dual rear lights, a 12V outlet for accessories and a front bumper and luggage rack extensions. The Premium Edition also adds beautiful, lightweight 14-inch aluminum wheels and 26-inch tires as well as automotive-style paint, Active Descent Control (ADC) and Engine Braking System (EBS) electronic systems, a front shock and the True On Demand traction system.

Following the hierarchy, the Hunt Edition will add camo paint, a 2500 lb winch, a gun case, front and rear bumpers, rack extensions, heated grips and thumbs.

The Utility HD version is designed for the big job. It is equipped with metal front and rear racks as well as the front bumper with tow ball, standard power steering, 6 plys stronger tires. In addition, the ball bearings and universal joints are sealed for better durability, the throttle is adjustable in three modes for easy work, geofencing and speed limiter.

Finally, Polaris is thinking about riders by offering the Trail and Ride and Command versions. The first, the Trail Edition, features double-wishbone front suspension, a 2500-pound winch, 14-inch aluminum wheels with 26-inch tires, front and rear bumpers (the latter with integrated LED lights), LED front lights, and new multi-mode power steering. Embodying the democratization of Ride and Command technology, the Ride and Command Edition also features a 3500-pound winch with synthetic rope, and new rack extensions.

WHAT’S UP ?

We appreciate :

  • The value that these ATVs represent for the buyer, by its performance, its balance and its correct reliability, because Polaris is gradually correcting its shortcomings
  • The honest performance of the 570 engine.

We dislike:

  • Nothing wrong with the Sportsman 570. It’s not the best-selling ATV in the world for nothing!
