The UFORCE U10 PRO is the new strongman of the family, thanks to the new 1000 cc three-cylinder engine that breathes under its hood. Although its function is similar to that of the “old†UFORCE 1000, you quickly realize when you examine them that you’re dealing with two different vehicles. The UFORCE U10 PRO boasts a more refined design, somewhat reminiscent of Polaris’ latest creations. It features an all-new engine, surprising work capabilities and, above all, a gargantuan list of standard equipment. Measuring 63.9 inches wide, the UFORCE U10 PRO’s more than generous dimensions are impressive. Its rugged appearance, with its prominent grille, commands respect. The light signature running across the grille gives it a high-end look, as does its metallic red color. The U10 PRO is available in three versions: three-passenger, with extended cab for six passengers, and the Highland version with an enclosed, air-conditioned cab.

The UFORCE U10 PRO is powered by a new three-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled engine with electronic fuel injection. Its 998 cm3 displacement delivers 88 horsepower and a generous 69 lb*ft of torque. The engine is very quiet and revs up smoothly. The advantages of a three-cylinder engine are drastically reduced vibration and smooth running. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) is now manufactured directly by CFMOTO. As for the transmission’s long-term reliability, only time will tell. However, the optimum performance delivered by transmission and the smoothness of its clutch.

The UFORCE’s four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension does a good job of absorbing bumps. Suspension travel is 11“ at the front and 10†at the rear, offering good comfort. The 13†ground clearance makes it easy to clear obstacles.

The CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO excels in utility use. Its towing capacity of 1,134 kg (2,500 lb) can be fully exploited. The dump body offers a capacity of 454 kg (1000 lb), which is also remarkable.

The interior of the vehicle is simply remarkable. You’re practically inside a car, with a full dashboard and a huge 8†touchscreen in the center. The infotainment system clearly provides basic information. It also provides access to a sound system (AM/FM radio, Bluetooth), air conditioning (in the Highland) and CFMOTO RideSync. The interior is well presented, and the textures of the various controls are impressive in their high quality.

The equipment is abundant: aluminum wheels, electric power steering, 4500 lb winch with remote control, roof, two-inch rear hitch receiver, side mirrors, fender extensions, steel front bumper, not to mention turn signals, hazard lights and a horn, which are more practical than you might think. The headlights and taillights are LED, as are the light accents in the grille.

The Highland version comes with an insulated cab, taking the level of equipment even further. In addition to the enclosed cab, you get air conditioning and heating, electric side windows, an electrically-assisted tipping body and an audio system.

WHAT’S NEW?

New model

We like:

  • The UFORCE U10 PRO’s size, both mechanically and in terms of bodywork, positions it advantageously in the large utility market.
  • The quiet three-cylinder engine.
  • The generous level of standard equipment.

We like it less:

Nothing in particular.
