New to the Argo range this year, this vehicle is a UTV resolutely geared towards work. It is derived from the TGB Landmax 1000 which is also coming onto the market this year. Although utilitarian, this vehicle offers a lot of modernity in its layout.
The Magnum XF 1000 is equipped with a 997cc3Â V-twin engine that develops 85 HP, transmitted to the wheels via a CVT transmission. On-the-fly 2WD/4WD modes and an elaborate system of front and rear differentials with full locking or, if the user so desires, fully unlocked to protect fragile terrain such as lawns. The driver will also have three-mode power steering. The independent four-wheel suspension guarantees a generous ground clearance of 14.2 inches.Â
The interior layout is well designed for the intended use. The bench seat is divided into three sections for the occupants and the three mandatory headrests are present. There are numerous storage compartments in the cabin, such as the closed and waterproof double glove compartment, the spacious storage under the seat, the folding central backrest to make a console with cup holders. The steering column is adjustable and the color LCD display provides all the driving information you need at a glance. Also worth noting are the ventilation vents in the dashboard, which probably presage the future arrival of a closed cabin and air-conditioned version.
As for work capacity, the Magnum XF 1000 LE is no lightweight, with a towing capacity of 2500 lbs and a payload capacity of 1000 lbs in its dump body.
The Magnum XF 1000 LE comes standard with 14-inch aluminum wheels with 27-inch Maxxis Big Horn tires, a 4500-pound winch, heavy-duty front and rear bumpers, a plastic roof, and painted body panels.
