Honda’s first powersports announcement of the new model year includes a number of exciting and full-featured ATVs for 2016. With a proven record of quality and reliability, Honda ATVs have consistently been the top choice among Canadian customers to fulfill their recreational and utility needs.
The Rubicon, Rincon and TRX420 DCT models, all with Independent Rear Suspension, have enjoyed remarkable success and return to Honda’s lineup once again. At the same time, Honda’s swingarm-equipped lineup, which has set durability, quality and reliability standards for both heavy-duty work and recreation, continues to offer an unsurpassed selection. Honda also remains the only manufacturer to offer the superior beltless technology of an Automatic DCT transmission on an ATV.
“Honda’s exceptional quality and unmatched reliability are well known, and our class-leading features and innovations are evident in our first models for 2016,” said Derek Verheyen, National Sales Manager of Motorcycle & ATV at Honda Canada. “With the great selection of IRS options in the line-up, we’re confident that we will be the ATV of choice for Canada this year.”
Proving that Independent Rear Suspension is applicable for everything from daily tasks to weekend adventures, Honda’s Rubicon boasts superior engineering that makes it confidence-inspiring for tackling tough trails and comfortable for spending long days in the saddle. A proven, efficient 500-class engine is standard on all models, as are 4×4 and IRS, while two transmission choices are offered: conventional (the only manual-shift IRS on the market) and revolutionary Automatic DCT. Deluxe models — with cast-aluminum wheels and red A-arms and springs —are available for both transmission iterations.
