The 2011 Polaris Ranger RZR XP 900, a new class of Side x Side, has joined the RANGER RZR family as of this year. The RANGER RZR series of Sport Side x Sides were designed to fulfill all types of recreational needs.

The year 2011 marks the appearance of the RANGER RZR XP 900, an extreme high performance type of vehicle offering excellent power, a highly perfected suspension system and unmatched maneuverability.

The RANGER RZR XP 900 is equipped with a new 88 horsepower ProStar™ 900 Twin EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) motor and a new 3-Link Trailing Arm Independent Rear Suspension (IRS), providing a generous 13-inches of ground clearance and a huge 14-inches of travel. This motor includes Dual OverHead Cams (DOHC), four big valves per cylinder and a 180-degree crankshaft for balanced performance and fast throttle reaction.

The light weight of this vehicle, with its low centre of gravity, combined to the powerful engine, allow for unique cornering abilities and amazing acceleration, which is 29-percent faster than the next quickest Side x Side on the market.

Every feature on this vehicle, from the lightweight transmission to the advanced suspension, and to the shocks and tires, is designed for high performance use. The new 3-Link design of the rear suspension consists of two extra-long radius rods and a far forward-connecting trailing arm, resulting in a strong, yet lightweight system.

Graced with all those characteristics, the RANGER RZR XP 900 becomes the only extreme performance Side x Side vehicle offered in the marketplace today.
