CFMOTO is still one of the most active companies in the off-road industry. They are undoubtedly making a big impact this year with the brand-new 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO. Amazing work skills, a new engine, and a versatile side. A ton of equipment is supplied as standard with every delivery. Just what you need to establish yourself in the work vehicle market. The team at 4Riders Magazine had the opportunity to test it out. This is our opinion!
Ergonomics, equipment, and style
There is no question once you confront it directly. The large dimensions of the 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO make it an impressive machine. Its big front grille and tough appearance are noticeable. Both the striking high-gloss black paintwork and the light strip that runs over the grille give a fashionable touch.
The final quality is unmistakable and elevates to a new level with the introduction of this vehicle. CFMOTO can now afford to compete with well-known brands and play in the big leagues. Everything has been thoughtfully planned, put together, and every little element has been carefully chosen to blend in with the overall design.
What a great set of standard gear!
We were entitled to the “basic” version of our test model. And with the abundance of equipment provided as standard, it’s not actually. Some, nevertheless, stand out in particular and are ideal for a utility vehicle.
- The back bucket can be lifted without strain thanks to an electric help switch on the dashboard.
- A typical winch with a 4500-pound capacity and a remote control. Perfect for simply removing a fallen tree or escaping difficult situations.
- To listen to your favorite country music, use a Bluetooth audio system.
Which version should I select?
The “Highland” variant, which is at the top of the range, was the one we tested first. With an even more extensive feature set, this is the most advanced version. Nevertheless, because we use the identical mechanical components, we discovered that our “base” version provides even more value for the money. Additionally, we can verify that overall behavior is improved without the additional weight of the cab. All of this while lowering the overall bill by almost $7,000. In summary, it is up to you to determine whether you actually need a heating/air conditioning system and a fully covered cab.
Superior interior design
The 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO has a beautifully designed and fitted interior. An 8-inch touchscreen built into the dashboard gives users access to the following essential features: Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, audio system (AM/FM, Bluetooth), and vehicle information.
The controls are thoughtfully laid up, and the materials are of high quality. Here, CFMOTO shows that it is committed to improving its standards in order to compete with the market’s leading companies.
The seats, which have a hint of western design, are also noteworthy. They have top stitching, a diamond design, and are composed of two-tone brown and black leatherette. With a large aperture in the cabin, they are incredibly appealing, cozy, and simple to get in and out of. We would have preferred robust doors, but the base version’s fillets are shaky.
three-cylinder motor
CFMOTO adds a new engine to their lineup with this new model. It is an in-line engine with three cylinders. It produces 88 horsepower and a substantial 69 lb-ft of torque with its 998 cc capacity. The engine is known for its smooth, linear revving and incredibly quiet operation. Vibrations are greatly decreased, as one could anticipate from a three-cylinder, improving onboard comfort.
Three driving modes—Work, Normal, and Sport—are available, and the vehicle is started via a push button. These modes modify engine mapping and throttle response. For dynamic driving, sport mode provides a more responsive throttle. Conversely, work mode is kinder for movements at low speeds.
CFMOTO CVT transmission
Continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) are now produced by CFMOTO. This part was previously provided by CVTech-IBC for their automobiles. The Chinese manufacturer is eager to built the great majority of its components inside these days. For this transmission, such is the case. Despite this, CVTech-IBC continues to be involved in calibration. The OmniDrive transmission is notable in this regard for its optimal performance and clutch smoothness. Only time will tell how reliable it will be in the long run.
This model’s electric gear selector, which operates via pushbuttons, is another intriguing feature. It’s crucial to remember that switching gears requires the car to be absolutely motionless. This safety measure protects the system and guarantees smoother driving. This eliminates the possibility of early breaking brought on by shifting gears while moving. A great solution that has two advantages.
Driving on trails
The steps on the 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO are quite steep, but it’s time to jump aboard. To put it mildly, the first few times are unexpected! The raised driving position provides superb sight, and the seats are comfy. You only need to press the electronic selector to get it going, and you’ll notice right away how quiet and seamless it operates. One of this car’s best features is undoubtedly the engine.
With 10 inches of travel in the back and 11 inches at the front, the suspension performs admirably. This guarantees noticeable comfort. Without worrying about rubbing, obstacle clearance is simple with 13 inches of ground clearance.
If you maintain a reasonable driving style, the entire system is stable and well-calibrated. The chassis immediately begins to roll in curves as a result of excessive speeding. Despite this, the vehicle provides a healthy ride and enjoyable experiences on the trails.
Primarily made for labor.
When it comes to utility use, the UFORCE U10 PRO is very noteworthy. With a remarkable 1,134 kg (2,500 lb) towing capability, it can manage even the most taxing jobs. Up to 454 kilograms (1000 lb) can also be carried by the tipping body. These numbers attest to its standing as a legitimate full-size work vehicle. Additionally, they put it in a solid position to compete.
The exceptionally narrow turning radius is another noteworthy feature, which is a great advantage for a car with a utility role. This greatly facilitates tight maneuvers. However, at high speeds, this agility results in somewhat less accurate steering. When driving quickly, there is a little blurring sensation. Once more, sportiness is sacrificed for hard effort. ZFORCE is available for that.
Overall, the throttle responsiveness and acceleration are more than sufficient for trail use. To put it briefly, the 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO is primarily a fantastic work vehicle that may also be enjoyable. It is adaptable and multifunctional, making it ideal for those who wish to do anything on board.
Things to improve
- The netting used to shut the sides are quite basic. To give it a more upscale appearance, we would have preferred stiff doors.
- Although the suspension is right, it is only very preload adjustable. It’s reasonable to assume that more changes might contribute to even more adaptability.
- It’s unclear if reliability will endure over time with all of this standard equipment, a new powertrain, electronics, and a ton of technology.
The last word
The manufacturer’s increasing proficiency is demonstrated by the 2025 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 PRO. It has everything to be taken into account in the utility market thanks to its reliable powertrain, adaptability, and extensive equipment.
